Backlit seedhead

I have various ornamental grasses in my gardens which can get interesting seedheads in the fall. This one was backlit with some blurred flowers in the background. I liked the way the little snail near the bottom tip and the spider strands on the top stem make opposing focal points. . . to me at least. :smile:

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/4.5 for 1/125 sec. ISO 400. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

I like this one a lot, Carolyn. I like the shape and texture of the grass seedhead, the delicate webs, and the terrific bg. At this size, I could not tell the snail from a seed, so thanks for pointing the little fellow. :wink: :toast:

Nice use of the light Carolyn, I like that colorful dappled BG a lot.
The spiders web and tiny snail add good interest too :wavey:
