The feather detail, color, lighting, and catchlight in the Kestrel's eye are spot on. I love seeing so much of the cornstalk. I'm torn between wanting a little more headroom and saying leave it as is. Still waiting for the chance to get closer to one of these beautiful birds. Well done Verdon!

I like this. The colors look natural, nice look back from the bird, DOF worked out well for the tail and the perch is different and interesting. If it were mine I'd move the bird a little lower in the frame if I could, seems tight up there. Nicely done, Verdon.
