Sledding fun; maybe not

We've had a pretty fair amount of snow while 90 min east of here hasn't had much. The family came out for a visit and decided to do a little sledding. The temp was about 14 degrees but sunny.

Our daughter in law loves this kind of stuff, but apparently our grandson didn't. Nothing like a face full of cold snow on a freezing day. He's really a lot of fun and pretty adventurous for a 2 year old, but he only made two more runs before he had enough of this.

A question for those who may know. What is the fastest CF card available. I was using a Transcend 8gb 600X UDMA, and with a 5D3 I could get 7 shots (RAW with small jpeg)off before the buffer filled and started to slow things down.

5D3
70-200 zoom
ISO 200
1/2000 @f8

Thanks

What a great family shot full of love and joy, really like the shots like is this one......... to bad no comment
I am using lately Lexar cards, 600x and 1000x, one think what I would consider is shoot in only RAW mode instead RAW/Jpeg, because the camera needs to generate the edit for Jpeg and it slows down the speed, and also maybe you need to update new version of firmware from Canonusa.com.......again great shot and Happy New Year to you and your family!!! :wavey:

Thanks, Verdon. Great idea to shoot RAW only and see what happens. I'll also look for upgrades from Canon.

I appreciate your input.

Jerry, this web page has an extensive list of CF cards and their speeds on a 5D3. It really helped me to chose a CF card for my new 5D3.

Love this shot for many reasons! First it made me laugh! Second I love the fact that the big kid is having way more fun, than the little one! The snow in the face and his expression is priceless!! Don't know much about fast cards I use San Disk extreme and shoot just raw and I never have trouble
