The fog is moving off after drifting through for some time this fall. I liked the natural corridor through the trees.

Happy New Year to all at NPN, thanks for your comments, your teaching, your participation, and your wonderful images this past year! :wavey:

C&C welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

Very lovely scene. Sort of magical in the way the aspen leaves are sort of floating here and the misty light beyond. Very nicely seen and presented.

Wow! This one really has some "zip" to it! I like the lighter trees on the left accented by the dark trees behind them....the mist in the back & shock of yellow on the darker right! Killer image!

This really conveys depth with the fog-filled corridor. Nice color up front and nice verticals from the trees. Everything is super sharp; presumably you were using a pretty wide angle lens. Lovely composition.

Lovely contrasts in this Morris, the yellow looks really good in the mist and I like the dissipating view down through the corridor of trees.

Happy New Year to you too.

Gary.

A convincing composition for me, Morris. The foliage in the foreground counteracts the strong verticals nicely and leads me into the depth of the image at the same time. The fog also adds a sense of depth and makes for a mystic atmosphere to me.

Morris,

Wonderful autumn image with the dissipating fog. I really like your idea of a "corridor." Very fitting. Like a draw or a right of way for bear or big elk....

A very small thing, but I think makes a big difference in your image, and that is the top canopy of the aspen leaning in to the open sky. The way the top of the tree fills that empty space kinda saves the image for me. Small thing, big difference.

Happy New Year to you as well. Thanks for your contributions too!

I am loving the fall aspen tree images, especially when fog is present. This one is very well done. The image is so well seen. The image just pulls in deeper and deeper..

Phenomenally interesting. 2 axis of contrast are an interesting approach. And i truly like the mood of the work with the fog on aspen trunks.

The contrasts are wonderful Morris. Those yellows just seem to be floating. Yes, that light beyond really makes the scene for me.

This is beautiful, Morris. It's often difficult to present foggy conditions in a way that appears "natural" and this does just that.
