Winter's Blush

That's very nice Richard I like the twilight blues and the rosy clouds and the last vestiges of light on the hills. The lead line over the near frozen stream is exquisite not sure I would like to straddle that stream with my tripod and self. The ice looks a wee bit fragile.

Rchard, This picture has such a wonderful mood! I love the light and beautiful color. Your comp works great showing off this impressive scene. Can't see anything I would want to change, just wish I had been there. Really nice!

Very cool. The light kissing the peaks is amazing.

I like the bluish tonality in the foreground, and it's set off so elegantly with the soft warm light just grazing the mountain tops and clouds. Excellent leading line with the creek. Superb crafting.

Oh My, this is simply stunningly gorgeous. A fantastic composition, but of course this image is much, much more than that. What a special moment in time. Easy to see why it made your top 12 - which btw, is one fantastic set of image. I'll go now to leave a comment there!

A favorite of mine too. What strikes me about the image is the sharp edge of the snow along the creek. Great lead in line and of course the nicely lit background hills. Great work Richard!

Nice comp, but it's the lighting that really makes the image for me.

At first Richard I was thinking I would have liked the stream to be a little more of center. But, as I look at the image more I really like it. I agree with some of the other people. The mood and lighting is great - the sharpness is also great. The reason I like the stream there now is because it does it job and drawing the in into the scene. I like this. Great job.
