S. White-crowned Shrike

Here's another image from our Namibia tour, this is a Southern White-crowned Shrike. It's a larger shrike (about 10 inches or 24cm). We photographed this bird behind the lodge at AfricaFarm Ondekaremba. This particular bird had a habit of flying right at me and I did manage a nice flight shot that I will post eventually too. This shot is cropped to 50% of the original.
