I took this by mistake during my first outting with the photography club I joined this summer. I had a 2 second delay with 0.5 s exposure on the previous image, forgot to change it and took this one at f/11, ISO 100, Pentax K-5, Tamron 90 mm f/2.8 macro (at f/11).

It reminded my of Aram Saroyan's controvercial poem that appeared in George Plimpton's The American Literary Anthology 2, a poem I first heard on the radio around 1969 and liked immediately because I found it easy to memorize.

It almost looks alive...well, like it's reaching for something. Not sure of the poem, but it sounds intriguing. I've learned not to immediately delete these kinds of images, something might be made of it.

Well this certainly fits the theme of red & green! Not sure what you were taking a picture of though--flowers? However, my imagination runs a little wild viewing this kind of shot. . .to me it looks like an invasion of some red bugs with long antennae. Sounds like it would be a fun technique to play around with and see what you get.
