Holiday Arrangement

I took this two weeks ago, on a frosty morning, at the local public park gardens. I picked a section of boxwood that was changing color, and the evergreen needles were scattered on top from the overhead trees. The crab apple berries were on the ground nearby, and I added them as a holiday touch. I also did a little rearranging of the evergreen needles to cover or fill in spaces in the boxwood, and a little selective cloning during processing. Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek MetroParks, Youngstown. D700, 105 micro nikkor, CPL, f22, 1/5 sec., iso 320. Comments, questions, and suggestions welcome.
p.s., Happy Holidays to you all. :wavey:

What a riot of color! I love all the frosty outlines & the addition of the berries is what really made this shot! I also like the way the needles break up the pattern of the leaves.

Wow. You fooled me. I thought this was bearberry at first glance. At any rate, this is a beautiful and striking image. I like frosty shots. We haven't had a hard frost here yet.

Scott: One could get lost in all the textures and details of the larger version. Really well seen and superbly captured.>=))>
