Welcome to NPN Jefferson, a fine first post of this Short-eared Owl in interesting habitat with a good composition. It's always good to include your shutter speed, F-stop and iso to help us with critiques. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your images. :toast:

Welcome to NPN. Nice image, I do find some of the highlights to be blown out a bit. Maybe lowering the contrast might help. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Welcome to NPN Jefferson! Great first post too. I like how the owl contrasts nicely with it's surrounding habitat. Nice alert pose and excellent details.

Sweet Portrait!
