Glowing

Thanks for the feedback on my previous photo. I am about half way through with what I consider my favorites from my recent trip.

Later on that same day Lon and I decided to head back to Cramer Alley as the day before we all stopped there as a group and planned out what time might be best to come back and photograph these grass gardens without super harsh sun hitting everything.

Two days before, Lon had been here and already posted one or two of his photos from this spot. I think I made three photos from here but this is what I was hoping to achieve, one main tuft of grass lit by the sun giving off an apparent internal glow. The fern on the right side, slightly browned, is the same fern in Lon's post from a week ago or so.

Your comments most appreciated.

P.S. the Larger file was saved at quality 5 to meet size requirements.

Beautiful glowing light and stunning colors. I think this is my favorite that you've posted from this trip. Very lovely, indeed.

Very nice take. Recognize the place from Lon's image, but this is a really different take on things. The textures and light are working together very well here.

Well done, Youssef. This is the sort of image that many would walk by without noticing.
You have a good eye.

Wonderful light on this one, Youssef. The resulting light has intensified the entire presentation of the plant life throughout the scene. Nicely done....

Youssef,

Wonderful! You caught the light beautifully on that tuft of grass. I clearly remember watching the light come and go as the sun made it's way over the valley walls, trickling through the tall pines on the other side of the river. This is a special spot. I have a couple more from here, but certainly didn't capture any glow.

No nits here Youssef, love it.

What a fine collection of elements. So much to take in and enjoy, and the light is really sweet. I might crop just a tad off the top to exclude the rocks there, but that's minor. Very nice.
