Of course not yellow here. Salsify, Tragopogon dubius is a wildflower here in Oregon and tough for me to find at it's peak. They seem to open for only a brief time in the morning and close when the day gets hot.

Charlie, this is perfect for a B&W conversion. It really shows off the lines of the flower and the leaves.

This is a very well designed and graphic image. How did you get such a dark background at 1/6 sec.? Just rhetorical. Very impressive.

Charlie, what an elegant and beautiful B&W floral image! This is a great flower for B&W. The thin sharp leaves(?) provide a nice contrast with the more rounded petals. The middle of the flower again provides a nice contrast with the petals both in texture and color shading. I also like the placement of the stem and your overall comp.

More effective in B&W than I would have guessed.

I am not a fan of B&W flora, Charlie, but this is beautiful. :toast:
