One day awhile back, I realized that I was missing a lot of interesting photo opps because I was only looking for things absent any hand of man. So, I'm glad we have this gallery to break up our seeing routines. This was taken during a total nature photo trip, but I just couldn't pass up these old cars near Guffey, Colorado. Fun time!

D600, 70-200 at 125mm, 2.8 at 1/250 handheld using VR.

"used" indeed! :smile: I'm chuckling at this since I did something of similar concept but not nearly this nice a while back.

What does it for me in this image is the color; they say you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig, but sometimes, as in this image, it can take it to a different, and I think higher, level. The colors, to me, say something about, sort of, faded glory.

This is great. The shallow DOF works really well and the colors scream.
