Definitely conveys the feeling of moving away from something. I'm curious as to your set up in doing this since I've been thinking of doing something similar to photography my boss's Ferari in motion.

I used a Magic arm and a Super Clamp. But still did not feel comfortable for the stability and safety of the gear, so I leaned out of the window and held the camera by a short strap. I do not have a photo of the setup, but I have a photo of similar setup I used on my Motorcycle. I will post it later. Thanks for asking.

This turned out great. I love the feeling of motion with the sense of the surroundings intact.
