Two Crane Flyout

Standing on the edge of the North pond at Bosque del Apache I was able to isolate this pair as they flew out at first light. A smaller aperture would have increased my DOF, but with the existing light f/7.1 offered the best acceptable speed.

This was my first visit to Bosque-an incredible experience.

Ooh, nice shot Chuck. Love the two bird's positions relative to each other. Nice sharpness and BG. Very well done.

Lots of overlapping cranes at fly-out, but VERY tough to catch them in pleasing poitions - this is great. Noth are sharp, nice poses, and in perfect positioins relative to each other.

A lovely image - the colors at Bosque del Apache are always wonderful. The overlapping birds with different wing positions work very well in this.

Wonderful timing to get this. I like that you can see both birds head/eye contact and wing position, excellent shot, way to go Chuck.

Exceptional flight capture of this pair. Crisp features and pleasing colors. Would be killer framed and hanging on a wall.

Exceptional image, Charles. The kind of thing painters will want to paint.

Awesome flight action Chuck  I like the alternating wing positions and that both cranes are calling. Excellent details too.

Sweet Photo!!!
