Twin trees at the Bosque

These are probably the most photographed trees at the entire Bosque del Apache Refuge since they are just to the left of the "Flight Deck" where folks come to watch the cranes and geese fly in. They glow in the evening light. One lone Sandhill crane is in the right lower corner.

Thanks in advance for any comments and critiques. I'm always learning!

I like the light and sky you captured Kathy. To me this has a very peaceful feel to it.

I love this Kathy. The trees really stand out against the sky and the crane is a nice touch.

The lighting on the trees and the soft colors in the sky are wonderful. The Crane on the right is a really nice addition.

A very nice scene Kathy. This does have a peaceful mood to it and I agree the one crane in the foreground is a nice touch. A great looking sky too!

Those trees are gorgeous Kathy. I too think that the crane adds to the scene.

Beautiful image. The bare trees and clouds are great and the crane is a nice bonus. I am finding the image looks kinda soft on my screen in both sizes.

Kathy,

Wonderful capture of light - those two trees are beautiful, as is the sky. What a great image! That lone crane plus the scattering of birds in the bg work well to define the landscape and give us context of a wildlife refuge.

Very, very minor and picky, but in the larger version there looks what might be a seagull or something out in the lake to the right of the big bush out in the open water. Of course at this size it just looks like a white spec, so you might consider cloning that out. but again, no biggie.

Great job recognizing and capturing the light and landscape while you're probably mostly in a wildlife mindset... ;-)

Love your composition and the soft warm light that really brings a wonderful glow to those two trees. The crane makes this all the better. Very, very nice.
