Take this with a grain of salt, Bill, cause the sunlight is bright right now in my room--but i can't see your photo, it's just too dark. How does it look in relation to your brightest exposure? Generally your brightest exposure is what youll be using for the canyon here.

Though I've never seen the canyon in smoke your processing is close to what I imagine it might be like. I'm partial to some of your earlier posts but this is nice.

Bill,

I'm no HDR expert, but I do know what I can see, and I think this came out very well. I happen to like the rendition of the canyon here, especially the layering effect created by the haze/mist over distance. There is just enough detail in the canyon for me to explore, and that's all I need.

The only nit/suggestion I have would be to back off the saturation in the layer of clouds/sky; a little strong relative to the canyon. Also, the very top as you get towards the left looks like it's gone to pure white - even merging with the NPN bg. Not sure how to process/edit HDR images, but hopefully you can pull down that sky a bit. Otherwise, this works nicely for me.

I think this works very well Bill, just getting rid of the little touch of white in the upper left corner makes it even better. I like it very much. Well done.

I also think it's too dark. But only in the nearest rock formation. I think a little more detail there is needed. I think the rest of the image works exceptionally well. The contrast is good, and the layered landscape effect is awesome! Would agree about the upper edge getting too hot.

I think you did a good job here....at least it look very natural. It's a bit dark but I think that's how it used to be and so i think your processing works well here. The upper part is a bit too hot, though and I would like to see some more details at the bottom.

I can see a fair amount of detail on my monitor at this time, so it looks good for your purposes, I think. I am enjoying the reds throughout the canyon in this, and the sky color compliments the blues nicely. I like it.
