Shallow dof, wanted to check if this works. Am not good at the reds, and the backlight... thought i would post this for your c&c

I do like the back lighting and the yellow bg adds to the image. I would have perfer to have the entire flower in focus. I like the position of the flower and the angle. The green leaf in the lower right corner, to me, is a little distracting. My eye goes to it rather than on the flower itself.

I like your comp and the contrast of the red against the yellow background. As others commented, I would wish for more DOF also. Eye-catching image, Balan.

Balan: Not sure I want more DOF specifically but I wonder if you could have managed the plane of focus to get the front petal sharp top to bottom. I do like the color, comp and concept. >=))>
