African Marsh Harrier

I shot this Marsh Harrier flying by a local hide in the West Coast National Park in South Africa. I like the late afternoon light and eye contact. I am really enjoying the D4 for its ability to allow you to underexpose quite significantly to drive up the shutter speed.

Model: NIKON
Lens (mm): 1000
ISO: 800
Aperture: 8
Shutter: 1/8000
Exp. Comp.: -1.3

I like the wing position and the eye looks good . Colors are great -- not too fond of the horizon cutting thru the bird

No nits. The horizon location doesn't bother me. In fact it provides the only leading line in the image.
