Neat image. It looks very painterly due to what I think is how you've sharpened it. I like the contrasts between the scattered greens, how the tree leans diagonally and the canyon wall background.

This old gnarled tree is definitely past its prime but it sure still has lots of character. The red rocks provide a nice background and the spots of green add some nice touches of contrasting color. Good entry for the theme.
