Thanks for all the appreciation and feedback on my first post .

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is located in Central India .The name Tadoba is the name of the god “ Tadoba ’’ or “ Taru ’’ . According to a popular legend , the village chief died while valiantly confronting the tiger . His courage was eulogized to that extent that he was worshipped by the localities as the deity “ Tadoba ’’.

Had a memorable visit to this reserve in this summer . Got this majestic sub-adult male resting in shade and luckily sighted Tigers in every safari though climate was unbearably hot. It’s a must visit for any nature enthusiast esp. for experiencing Felines in their wild habitat.

Species: Royal Bengal Tiger ( Panthera Tigris )
Location : Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve
Date created : 04/5 /2012
Camera : Nikon D4
Lens : Nikkor VR 200-400 f/4G at 400mm

Nice relaxed pose and eye contact Saurabh. I like the way the color of the earth and brush matches this beautiful tiger. Must be a wonderful experience to see these cats in the wild.

Difference in impact between small size and larger photo is notable. View large! I bet it looks even better printed really, really big.

Beautiful pose (even though the habitat is not!), and lovely eye-contact!
