This may not be the best gallery for this as post processing has significantly altered color, etc. I will have no ill feelings if this is moved.

85mm FL
1/640 sec
f 5.7
ISO 200
manual focus
hand held
very slight crop

The post processing is not obvious, Charlie, so I think this is fine here. Beautiful backlighting and color. The colors, given the backlighting, look quite credible.

Charlie: I think we'll leave it here as the processing is not obviously impacting the image. I really like the light and rich color brought out by the back light. Well seen and nicely captured. >=))>

Beautiful spotlighting here Charlie both with the light and the dof decision.

Charlie:
Lovely saturated color here. Like the mood from the dark bg. The reflection on the lower leaf is a little distracting and I wonder if a CPL would have help here.

Beautiful light in this one, Charlie. I rather enjoy the richly saturated color. Nice image

The backlighting really sets those leaves aglow. Although this is fine as presented, I could also see a tighter view/crop that cuts out the bright leaf, bottom center.

I think your processing really enhanced the reds of the leaves and truly makes them the point of interest and I agree with the crop suggestion. I always have a soft spot for the lovely bokeh work in the BG ! :toast:

Beautiful image. The color looks very natural. I'd get rid of the bright highlight at the bottom center.

Sometimes an image leads us to unexpected delights. This one works in every way for me. Love the drama from the contrasts and the rich color.
