I got out my beat up old blind for this one, taken in the Northern Sierras. Lots of juncos arriving for the winter.

A nice sharp image with lots of detail. I like the slightly OOF foliage in the BG. I think you could get away with taking a bit more off the left to improve composition a bit. Still a very nice shot.

What a beautiful bird ! I like the shot a lot; perch, BG and bird all fit nicely together. Compliments ! Cheers, Hans

A lovely portrait of the DEJ - you really did justice to this species here. Image has an intimate feel to it. Like the perch and BG very much.

Very nice detail; nice pose. I'd darken the perch a bit from the junco down to the bottom of the frame.

Sweet shot Jim. Wonderful perch and background, and a very nice alert pose from the Junco.
