Rudy Shelduck, Adult Female.

@ Eskisehir, Turkey 10Th. Nov. 2012 15:27 Local Time

This afternoon was cloudy and rainy, I tried several shots setting high ISO between 4.000 - 10.000 ISO with 1DX. I got some acceptable capture with 6.400 ISO, but better result was at 4.000 ISO.

1DX
300mm F/2.8L IS II USM + X2.0 III TC
1/800
f/7.1
ISO 4.000
Hand held.

Thanks for looking, your C&C appreciated

Gorgeous bird. I like the over the shoulder look. Colors are very pleasing. The high ISO is impressive. Bird is a bit centered, I think, and I would either crop some from the right or consider changing it to a vertical.

Great ISO results. Noise program?
As for the comp a bit too tight on bottom and too centered. Check out rule of thirds for a  refresher :toast:

Beautiful duck and setting. As mentioned by others, I agree that a different crop would help. It's great to experiment with high iso, but a sitting duck likely doesn't need 1/800. Did you apply any sharpening to the duck? A slightly lower angle might be tried, if possible of course.

Beautiful bird and impressive high iso results here Basri, I think this would have worked better as a vertical with a little more room below her feet. :toast:

Very nice image for iso 4000 and I like the color variation in this duck, way to go.
