This cropped pano gave me the feel of being back in the movies during the time of "Cinerama" or wide screen features.

C&C welcome, and thanks for looking.

PLEASE SEE LARGE VERSION!

Love the pines and dappled light, all sitting against the gorgeous sky, and your right Morris, the large view is a must. Beautifully done.

Nice one, Morris. The fg looks magical, as though the trees were stuck into a carpet of wooly material.
I like the comp, and the orange areas on the mountains really draw the eye into the rest of the frame.

A classic mountain view. The splash of gold on the far slopes give this a nice sense of space.

I can feel the chill in the air and smell the sage. I like this quite a bit.

I like the feeling of being up so high, Morris. I also like the three layers and the touch of blue and orange color.

Gorgeous image Morris. That spot of orange light really sets it apart though. The light in the cloud sphere is also spectacular.

Morris,

Didn't I just see Rooster Cogburn racing across the scene on Little Blackie carrying Mattie..... I think I did. ;-) Great call on the cinerama reference.

Excellent mountain landscape and great job with the selected crop/format. The sparse arrangement of the pines I think really solidifies the composition. My only suggestion/thought is that I'd like to see the midtones raised a little bit; this just seems a tad dark. I know the lighting conditions and situation kinda make it that way, but I guess I'm just looking for a little more life out of the sage covered landscape. Minor though.

I like the panoramic presentation with this, Morris. You handled the contrast lighting very well too. It definitely has a cinematic feel. :toast:

Very nice comp and development. Some cinematic music would be nice with this as well.

Very nice! The scattered trees really anchor the image. Great sky, too

Nice pano Morris, the larger version is definitely worth looking at, hard to appreciate these panos here on NPN. The hint of color in the mountains speaks fall...

One of my favorite vantages from Twin...cool! Very minor nit: i think it might have been stronger with some fg light, the shadows there are somewhat problematic. I'll give you a B+
