apart from the obvious; the use of three, good shaprness, excellent bokeh, color contrast and placement in the frame; what really grabs my eye and heart in your image is the tiny seed sitting atop the center former flower, about to depart to destinations unknown.

As wonderful as the other elements in your image may be, for me at least, it is that little seed that really makes it; that really makes it mean something very special.

As one who makes images myself, I realize you already know what I'm saying, but I just thought you'd like to know that someone else sees what you saw.

And I think sometimes when we post our images, they are like that little seed sitting atop the center former flower; in that we see something, we felt something, and we are sending it out hoping that it will land somewhere, where someone else will see it too.

In this case, it was me.

Sandy: I like the seed as well. On my screen some of the details in the center of the right bloom look blown. I do like the comp and your plane of focus management. Nicely done. >=))>

Sandy:
A beautiful image. The comp is just fine and the bokeh from this long lens is just so deliciously buttery :toast:
