The origianl photo was taken at night with a flash (Canon Rebel xs). In photoshop I used filters, noise reduction and spot removal (or something like that) to get this look.

Nice title and concept. I see where you are going with it.
I havve a few suggestions based upon that perception. Take them for what they are worth; my advice is free and you get what you pay for
Anyway, I would suggest reducing the overall luminance so that one has the sense of indeed going into the night; i.e., black.
Secondly, I would place the watermark of your name and copyright inconspicuously in the lower right corner.
Finally, I would consider black and white rather than bright color. Or maybe just reduced chroma.
All of this is based upon the assumption that your title tells us what you are trying to convey.

I like the sweep from the bottom to the top, the glow of the leaves, and how there's some sharpness towards the bottom. I find most of my attention focused on that bright leaf just above the middle. I could see a touch more space on the right (if you've got it or added with extra canvas and content aware fill) so the leaf tips aren't quit so close to the edge. In keeping with your title, you might also try a gradual darkening of the top 2/3rds.
