daffodil lumen

This is a photo I took of one of my lumens while it was still "developing", sitting out side in the sun.

The process is as such: take an organic object (flower, in this case) and place it on light sensitive photo paper. Clamp it between glass and cardboard so it doesn't get disturbed and place it outside in full sun. (Doing this in the summer is best, but it can be done in the winter as the sun is not as hot.) After 12 hrs or so, take it inside and fix it. DO NOT develop or put it in stop bath. Every lumen will be different...

Love to see you post the lumen as well together with this photo. The process you describe is very interesting, a kind of contact print and reminds me a lot of my dark room days. Wish to see what sort of image the water condensation will produce.
