Very nice Peter. The warm colors are fantastic. I like that you can see under the water and the reflection is beautiful. I would probably do a bit of cloning of the spots on the water on the left and maybe the weeds pointing out the the mid ground rock. Nice work!!

An incredible capture of the atmosphere for me, Peter. The mighty rocks together with the calmness of the reflection make for an amazing tension to my eye.

Well processed. The CPL really drew out the colors and revealed the creek bottom for you.I like this just as is, without cloning.

Excellent work with the dramatic dynamic range, Peter. Great autumn look to this red rock canyon scene.

Thanks everyone!
Dean, I did go back to the print file and cleaned up the spots and weeds.
Jeffrey, this is the west fork of oak creek canyon just north of Sedona, Arizona. This is the state's version of Zion National park's narrows/subway hike. Much easier to hike and usually very crowded during spring and autumn. However, I find it hard to locate a better combination of landscape and fall colors in Arizona than this trail.

Thanks everyone. I wish the trees were at peak here, but I caught a lucky break since they all fell a few days later from the strong winds they had up there.

Beautiful color throughout, and nicely composed as well. I could see cropping to just above your watermark to remove the darkest parts of the water, but that's really minor since framing it would most likely take care of that anyway..great shot.

Beautiful, Peter. The tonal quality and being able to see down into the water sets this apart. Excellent work.

Looks like an oil painting with rich, vibrant color and stunning light. If I had a nit, it would be the faint blue water mark on the rh rock. It interferes with the warmer, richer shades a bit. However, it's not a deal breaker by any means and this is one incredible image. Nice job

Drop dead gorgeous Peter! This is really, really sweet. The CPL really knocked the glare off the water which helps a great deal. This is a well crafted image!

Beautiful, haven't seen much from this area. The yellow highlights on the right are distracting, but minor when taken in context of the shot as a whole.

Thanks Chris, this wasn't the ideal comp I had in mind, but chose it due to the harsh light against that wall. If I were to have shot this more from the left, that whole right side would be a big distraction. I was lucky to salvage that part as well as I did.

Love the tone of different colors throughout the image. The corner make you want to see what is behind and this adds to the image in my opinion. Thanks for sharing!
