Nikon D600, 150mm macro. F/22, 1/10sec, ISO 400.markins ballhead

Here is more electric color, light and form. I find all autumn leaves fascinating,to get this vivid color, and to keep the leaves fromm drying out, i keep them in a container with one inch of water. comments appreciated.

Nicely done, Albert. The leaves have beautiful colors as well as interesting patterns and textures. :toast:
edit: as an aside, this could also go into this week's WC gallery.

Albert - Just lovely and colorful assortment. The signs of decay help in increasing the contrast. Was wondering if using a CPL might have tamed the highlights some.

Quite a collection of colors, shapes and textures. They have the look of leather and not the brittleness of the pesky leaves that I have to rake every fall... with the hurricane brewing maybe I won't have to do it this year. Probably will have a worse mess to clean up.

Hi Albert,
I like to see your excellent creativity. Excellent colorful image presentation. Perfect choice of crop and very nice handling of the lighting. A tight crop has allowed most of the image to be filled with the leaves and hence has added a perfect hue to this excellent image. Nicely done. :toast:

Good mix of colors, shapes and textures. I would be tempted to use a CPL on this, not so much for the highlights, but to enrich the colors.

Very interesting variety of colors and textures in these leaves. I also find autumn leaves fascinating with all their color variations and stages of decay. One of your autumn leaves series images would fit very well in our current weekly challenge, Albert!

Albert:
Nice vibrant colors. Amazing to see nature's beauty even in decaying process. Agree with Ram about the use of CPL to tame the highlights.

Gorgeous colors and composition. I wouldn't tone down the highlights, they make the leaves look wet.
Good job finding beauty in something most people would consider ugly.

Albert: Marvelous colors indeed and I like it that the leaves are not perfect specimens. I'm in agreement with the others regarding a polarizer for even more color clarity. Very well done.>=))>

These leaf images are all stunning, Albert, The color array makes them of more interest than many leaf shots.
