Cascades through the meadow of Glacier Park towards a vibrant sunrise and mountains beyond. An oft-shot location in the Logan Pass area... this was my first time here and what a magnificent place it is! This sunrise seemed to last for an hour due to the lower clouds and smoke in the air. I made some shots down below during the pre-sunrise glow, and then came up here to catch the sun as it peaked over the mountains. Nikon D800, 14-24, 2 exposures blended for foreground and sky. Thanks for looking!

That's very pretty Chris. You had everything working for you on this morning, and you took full advantage of it and made the best of it. No suggestions from me.

Very beautiful scene. Everything flows together so well and that sky is fantastic!

Rocks, Mountains, flowing water, flowers, clouds, and sun rays all in the same picture. I'd suggest cropping a bit off the top. There's so much going on in this image, the extra sky about the main highlight isn't needed IMO. If this were an 8x12, I'd crop off an inch. Beautiful work. It may be well photographed, but I haven't seen it before.

It's a pretty scene indeed. It's framed well with the water leading the eye to the sunrise, but I agree with Brad that there is too much sky - I'm not liking the horizon in the middle. I'd recommend cropping the top off to a 4x5 format.

Really sweet light. The stream makes a very nice leading line in to the image and then the sun draws you the rest of the way in. Great image.

Great colors! The flow moving away from you works well as it flows towards the sunset.

Beautiful image, Chris. I think the essentially centered comp works here as the foreground and sky hold my attention equally and the stream leads my eye throughout the scene nicely. The color and luminance look great too!!

Great job handling the light, looks like a wonderful sunrise. I really like the close view of the stream and step at the bottom of the frame.

This is really superbly composed in every aspect. The flowing stream in the foreground draws me right into the scene. The landscape beyond and the cloudscape hold my interest throughout.

Oleg, I have the Lee SW 150 system but honestly have not used it yet. Mainly I got it to be able to use a polarizer (I got the CAVision polarizer), but there is a special adapter I need for the SW150 I need to use this as it is thicker than holder allows. I have an adapter on order, but it has been on backorder since at least May.

Nice image Chris !!

If you have time, please send me a message about the polarizer for the SW 150. I have the Lee filter holder as well for my 14-24mm. I also bought a 4 stop solid ND from Singh Ray for the SW 150. I was curious about how to use a polarizer with it. In the mean time, I also have the Nikon 17-35mm for back up if I need to use a 77mm Polarizer :)
