Drought Stricken Oak

A mighty old oak a farmer has not removed in hopes of some new life. The 2011 Texas drought took a half a billion trees with it and this one is a reminder. Very moist weather since has helped but the verdict is in on this majestic oak. In larger view you can see this is two oaks grown together.

The stories this tree could tell! I like the comp and pov a lot, and the conversion is very well done. Fine work, Rick.

A striking look at a once magnificent tree. Hate to hear that it's dead.
