One of my Gladolias decided to bloom this week. To take this photo I laid on the ground and actually had to hold the stem...it was really breezy the other day.

Gladiolas are a difficult subject, Holly. I like the colors and the comp with the focus on the lower petals, but I would prefer the stamens to be sharper. Probably not possible under your shooting conditions.
