I was camping in PA with my family when I took this photo. All I really did with this one is turn everything except the water black and white in photoshop.

The original photo details:
Canon PowerShot A610
f/4
1/125

I like what you've done here with the varied processing, it really lets the water be the star. This turns out to be a tough image to look at because it feels very tilted. I want the clouds in the sky and the distant bridge deck to be level, but the reeds on the right sure do look to be standing up straight and the foreground looks level...yikes!

I like what you've done with the starkly contrasting water..
The obvious slant can be a good thing if this was your intention..
Kinda gives it a more 'surreal' or parallel universe look where nothings quite as it seems:wavey:

Holly,

Straightening the horizon really helped this image. If you posted this in the landscape gallery, someone would have pointed out ( like I'm doing  ) that it is still high on the left by about 1/2° The easiest way to determine level is to run the marquee tool across the horizon or grap the top of your image and move it to the top or bottom edge of the monitor to check horizontal.
