After the Rain

I found this intimate scene some days ago in a small valley in the region of Wechsel, a mountain in Lower Austria at the eastern edge of the Alps. I was drawn to the dense and lush greens after some hours of rain, together with the sense of flow in the creek.

Peter, This is really nice. I love your composition with the flow of the water. As you say the dense and lush greens look wonderful. Very hard to beat that look after a nice rain and you show that so well here. I bet this would look fantastic in a print!
Very nice work! :toast:

Pretty little scene Peter, excellent color and composition, I always like getting out after a rain, it seems the forest comes alive with a beautiful glow. Well done.

Despite the fact that this is a busy scene I think the elements work together to create a nice flow (sorry - I couldn't resist the pun  ). I really like those vibrant greens. The texture in the water is just right to give a sense of motion but also to retain some of the detail.

Very nice setting. The greens are perfect. And I wish I could get the hang of shooting flowing water to look as great as yours does.
