Portrait of a male Leopard ( Panthera pardus ). Image captured in Motswari Private Game Reserve during a recent photographic safari that I conducted. Motswari is known to be one of the best areas in the world for leopard photography and is located in the heart of the Timbavati Nature Reserve in Greater Kruger, South Africa.

Absolutely perfect! What a beautiful animal, with great light and DOF! Leopards are my favorite animal, and I'm really really hoping I can photograph one while I'm here in East Africa! You've certainly inspired me! Thanks, I can't wait to see more!

Wonderful, wonderful light and a regal, dignifies pose make for a fine capture! My only wish would have been to magically not have those bits of grass across his shoulders.
