These are favuorite of South-east Queensland. The orange on the forehead positively glows like a red hot coal.

Wow, what an amazingly bright bird! So cool! Really like the perch, and the BG is nice too. Nice and sharp image, no nits from me!

Very pleasing composition Rob, beautiful bird (yeah!), pleasing soft bgnd and a super perch. Thank you for bringing us another beauty from 'down under'.

Rob,
This is a nice composition and a beautiful bird that is accented by a terrific BG. This back ground reminds me of an abstract water color painting and is a very pleasing addition to this photograph. Well Done.

That bird is the brightest bird I've ever seen! Just so beautiful! I like the perch he's on. The composition is great and what a nice pose he gave you!

Nice job on handling the yellows and what a difficult contrast shot. Almost looks like you put a kaleidoscope up for the background. Amazing colors all the way around, very cool image Rob, well done.

Truly a spectacular subject and a wonderful image Rob. I'm thinking you exposed this bird as well as humanly possible, I like the perch going through the frame at that angle and the background just seems to fit the wild colors of the bird. Very nice.

What a background--what a bird! To do any better, I think you would need two exact shots of the bird...one to expose the blacks and one to expose those electric yellows. And we all know NO bird stays in the exact same position for 2 shots! Cool photo! Sharon
