I just got back from a short trip to southwestern Colorado, which was tough as I was racing against time with the dwindling fall color and a relapse of a cold that landed me in the Montrose Urgent Care. Still I was able to get out and shoot in some capacity, unfortunately 'putting in the extra mile' for something unique was out of the question.
In and around the Sneffels Range there were still pockets of good color, as well as photographers seeking out photo ops.
Shot just after sunset, which was nice, just completely clear over Mt Sneffels and the adjacent peaks. I'm looking forward to making it back out to this area for wildflowers and hopefully fall color next year. Given the circumstances, this was one of my favorite visits to CO and I'm eager to get back.
Big thanks to David Kingham and Jason Hatfield for all the effort they put into conditions updates and just being awesome dudes.
