I was flying between Denver and LA and shot this out the window as the sun was setting beneath the clouds creating a beautiful glow.

Any critiques or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Canon 5DII, 24-105 @67mm, f5, 1/80sec, ISO 200

Wow, what an unusual perspective of a sunset! Beautiful colors and I love the lumpy texture of the clouds. Nice find, Scott. :smile:

Beautiful light from below. I've never seen a sunset from a plane. To me, a more pano crop, with the bottom blob removed might improve the image.

Nice capture with great cloud detail and some neat lighting. Most of the airplane windows I look out of are so badly scratched and fogged, that I don't even try anymore.

Before reading your description, I was wondering if you were standing on top of a mountain...lol. Nice image and very dramatic. I like looking down at clouds while flying, takes my mind of the cramped seating! Well done!
