Osteospermum

This is a new bloom (see the slightly folded petals). I was drawn to the multi point star like effect this would create.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor @ F/6.3 with 36mm ET, 1/160 SEc, ISO400, Diffuser and Tripod. Shot Horizontal and cropped square for presentation.

Thanks a lot for your comments on White Begonia and let me know if this one appeals to you or not.

These osteospermums are amazingly beautiful, especially the blue centers. The square comp works well, Ram, as does the green bg. My only "nit?" The thumbnail does not do this one justice.

This pulses with purity and beauty. The flawless flower is perfectly presented. You probably knocked down the lrc already ...but I would try for a little more to mitigate the diagonal bring corner to blend better with the dark b/g. That is a very ...minor nit...of little consequence to the superb shot.

I love the star burst look and the bulls eye composition sets it off nicely. The slight bluish cast of the petals works well with the blue center. I would darken the foliage in the lower right corner.

Perfect in every way for me, Ram ! Love the purity of the whites and the emergence of the touches of pollen which counterpoint the symmetry of the flower.

The sharpness is mesmerizing Ram - when I just stare at the center. An excellent shot. Great exposure. Very pretty.

Ram:
The best hotels only get a 6 star rating but I really like your 21 pointed star. Fabulous image.

This certainly is appealing, Ramamohan. No suggestions for changes or ways to improve from me.
Very sharp.

Ram,
I like the sharp blue center of the flower and the clear white petals because it contrasts nicely with the dark green BG. Symmetrical composition works very well here. Excellent photo. :toast:
