Here's a vertical version from "The Gastlosen". The glow was almost over but there was just enough time to capture the glow for this vertical composition.
Thanks for your feedback on my last post!

Bill, This is excellent. I commented on the other one too, and this one is way better in my opinion. Tons of depth and detail. My eye gets drawn in deeper and deeper and stays in the image for a long time. The only little thing I would edit would be the sky at the upper right edge. The brightest part of the sky is where it is cropped off on the edge. Highlights on the edge of an image can draw attention out of the image. I'd burn it down a third stop or so with a soft edged brush just to soften the transition at the edge.

I like this a lot Bill. Gorgeous light on the peaks, and I think this works wonderfully in the vertical format. No nits whatsoever from me.

Those are some spires and the glow looks perfect. Nothing I would change. A lovely time of evening?

Love that glow Bill! Beautiful capture of the light and color on the rock faces. A fascinating formation... well worth the hike I reckon! The angled clouds make it feel a bit funny, but it's only a minor thing.

Beautiful light. Compositionally hangs better than the landscape version although I prefer the details in that one.

Bill, this is a compelling presentation of this impressive scene to me. I especially appreciate your careful treatment of colors and the crisp details.

even more impressive than your previous shot from here... wonderful light and very effective comp with the mighty mountains towering over the valley below... mountains remind me a bit of part of the Dolomites

I think I like this one even more than the first one. At least as it pertains to the comp. This one is superb. A dynamic image.
