Come with me!

I have been absent for a while preparing a photo safari to Kenya which I will be leading in 2013 - if you want to join or find out more about it, see http://www.ingridvekemans.com/safaris.

This photo shows the typical African bush scenery of Tsavo West National Park...

An interesting depiction, not only of the elephant parade, but of the wider view of the surroundings. An intelligent use of framing!

I was going to use the same wor as Phil used 'interesting'! I like the layering and the depth created. Two things that catch my eye an detract from my appreciation as a whole are the road (nothing you could have done to avoid that) and the triangular sliver in the TRC. I would have liked to see more room included on top to include the entire ridge from one end to the other, or, in absence of that, crop it off.

Hi Vincent,
Yes, I agree. The sky/ridge should have been visible all along the top - however....it isn't
I tried cropping the top but then there's a lot less depth...it's as if the top isn't as far away as it really is...so I chose to leave it on and let it 'live' with its imperfection

Great line up of elephants !
I'm not very pleased about road dividing the frame into two.

I like the scene as portrayed here, Ingrid.
The first thing I thought was to crop from the top to lose that sliver in the upper RHS corner
