A crazy evening of wind, waves, and storm clouds at sunset on Inverness Beach taken in Oct 2009.

Wow, that's cool Eva. You have captured the power of the waves very well and I like the warm / cool contrast as well. I think the 50/50 comp works well here as there is equal interest in the foreground and sky.

The light hitting those waves really sets this one apart. Beautiful!

The ULC is pretty bright Eva, but the light on those waves sure is sweet!

Saw this over on 500 - exquisite light and delicate/subtle processing. I, for one, love the "dandelion waves" you've captured here with this particular shutter speed - they catch the light so nicely. Just class all-around, Eva.

A beautiful capture of the sunset light Eva. Nice use of the grad to control the light too.

Eva, you managed to balance this composition wonderfully by leading my eyes to the subtle bright spots at the right. Your image makes for an immediate experience of this scene to me.

Fantastic lighting. I like this presentation but also think a panorama may work.

Love all the action, in both sea and sky. While the wave look pretty wild and wooly, the warm light creates a sense of pleasure.

Love the light on the crashing waves, especially the spray. Keep in mind I'm on my work monitor, but I might boost the contrast a little, and also darken the exposed sky just a bit as it really draws my eye away from the water. Looks like a great day to be shooting.

I'm thinking you're probably the master of pastels. I love the colors in this scene, how gentle they are in contrast to all the energy and drama of the water. Beautiful work

Eva, I'm really liking how the back-light is highlighting the wave tips throughout the scene and clear back to the furthermost wave set too.......

The light hitting the tops of the waves is really nice Eva as is the glow from the sunset on the horizon.

I really like this one Eva. Gorgeous soft colour palette and a pleasing shutter speed to hold water detail in low contrast quality.

Eva, a wonderful moment in time, a moment in mood, and an experience that is unforgettable.
I can feel the mist, the last light on my face, the smell of the surf, and the winds of life breezing through my exposed skin.
Your skill, experience, and knack for these intimate shoreline connections is intoxicating.
I simply have to slow down from my schedule, take in your imagery, and feel the moment.
