Moraine Lake Canoes

Yes, it's an icon. But well, for me, as a European, it's still an exotic place of sorts. So here it goes, the canoe dock at Moraine Lake shortly after sunrise. What a place (one or two more to come from there)!

Techs: Nikon D90, 12-24/4 DX, tripod, two exposures blended for dynamic range.

Please let me know what you think!

I like it Basil, it may be an icon but it's still a great shot. Flawless composition and real good detail throughout. Colours look very natural.

Gary.

Wonderful mix of colors, and your blend looks great. What an inspiring location.

The blended exposures work very well. I've been doing a little of that lately too. It makes me want jump in one of those canoes and paddle around the lake.
