Very nice Stan, really like the way the fog gives this a touch of mystery, I bet this would also look good in B&W, beautiful work.

Stan,

I agree with John on the bw conversion. Fog shots are great in the tonal range offered in bw.
Well seen :toast:

Thanks a lot, John & Rick. :)
I'll give the b&w conversion a try.

This would also work great in b&w. The fog adds a lot to the scene here.

Did a b&w conversion.
Increased the contrast, a bit, in the forground.
Thought that look better in the bw.

Stan
The bw looks good. Might kick up the contrast a bit.

Hey, Rick !!
Thanks again.
Always a choice, when it comes to contrast.
I actually had it tweeked a little higher and toned it down a bit, again.
Started loosing too much of the "fog" effect.

The black & white look good. i'd prefer this pne over the color version. As rick mentioned you might kick up the contrast a bit.

Stan I prefer your color version, as the subdued greens together with the gray shades convey the atmosphere nicely tom me. The multidirectional flow of the falls adds a lot of interest to me.

I like the composition of this image. I am not a big B&W fan, but I find fog shots do led themselves to a B&W conversion.

The atmospherics are very appealing. I can almost here the rushing of the cascade.

I've looked at this quite a while now. I'm trying to figure out how I feel about it, but am having a difficult time. On first blush, I like it, but wish the contrast was boosted an ever so slight amount. I'm glad you left this in color as the faint greens are nice, as are the slight browns in the rapids. I bet this was a nice day to be out there!

Thanks much, Bill.
After playing with the bw version, I copy catted some of the changes to the color image.
Will post it to see what you think.
