Final Rose

This is probably my last post of a rose, at least for awhile...the same rosebush as before, a week or two ago. I'm not sure what I think of it, yet, so I thought I'd post and see!

Nikon D200, 60mm, f/5.0, 1/160, ISO 250, a little cloning touch up of the center...

Nice color Jaymes. Overall it is not my favorite of your rose images, but I like the affect of the shallow DOF.

I like the red wash of the petals and the shallow focus. I am not sure of the center. What was touched up? It looks a bit sharp and nondescript at the same time.

I'm at a toss up with this Jaymes. I like the shallow depth, but on a real tight composition like this, the blurred foreground is a bit distracting. This might just be me.

The a favorite of your rose series but still a strong image. Would consider cropping just a smidgen off the top to remove the red line between the two anthers near the top edge.

I like this as part of the series, but not a stand alone image for me. I would crop a slight bit off the top and I do wish for a little room on the right so that the yellow is completely surrounded by the pink. Beautiful flower and a great series!
