I just loved the way the light, caught the curly stamen, on this lavender bloom.

Nicely composed with wonderful complementary colors. I'm enjoying it a lot. Two things that would have helped is a little more room on the edges (except top) and a little bit more DOF which would have brought both stamens into focus. Still a nice effort and one to enjoy.

Great comp achieved and I like the shallow depth Stephen. I might like a little more canvas to the left showing the whole bloom, but just my thoughts. Well seen and composed.

Nice point of view. As Peter said, a little bit more DOF would be great. In any case, it is very original and creative.

Nicely done Stephen. The shape of the bloom and the shape of the stamen are shown off nicely here. Nice color too.

Stephen: Love the general placement and orientation of the flower in the frame and the DOF works for me. More room on the bottom and left would be my only suggestion. Nicely done.>=))>
