Lion's Mane II

Lion's Mane II,

The orange stamen, on this Anemone, reminded me of a lion's mane.

I do not have much experience with Photoshop. I used the "Auto Adjustments" and this is what I got. Normally I do not like what the "Auto" version comes up with, and end up making minor adjustments myself. I liked it this time :)

Panasonic DMC-TZ3
Focal Length 26mm
Shutter Speed 1/60 sec
Aperture f/4.8
ISO/Film 100

Gorgeous, Stephen. Love the tones and color. One of the best images you've posted to date, IMO. :toast:

Nice image Stephen. Like the colors and the emphasis on the yellow center. Very pleasing to view.

Thank you so much, everyone!!! :jump:

I am actually quite surprised, that this image has been taken so well. It is one that has been sitting in my image folders, for two years and I only just recently pulled it out to play with it.

Thank you again :)

WOW!!! thank you so much everyone :) I am actually, honestly, shocked!

There are so many amazing images on this site, taken with much better equipment than mine. I really did not expect to have one of my images, chosen for something like this.

I am truly grateful for all the feedback and this vote of confidence :jump:

I wish there was a way, on this site, to respond to individual comments??? Is there?

Well, Stephen, you can always respond to others' comments or questions, as you did here. I don't think it is necessary, appropriate, or even practical, however, to respond to each comment. The best way to show your appreciation is to comment on the images posted by others. :wavey:

I was just curious, if someone asks a question and I answer in the general thread, do they get notification to come back for the answer.

I will do my best to comment. I am trying to learn more, so I don't sound like an idiot when I review someone's hard work :)
