Great afternoon with the hummers. Finally got a couple shots I like, the birds were so intent on chasing each other away from feeders I was able to get fairly close.

Looks good but the OOF stem in left foreground does distract and partially blocks the hummer. Nice sharpness and detail on the hummers head and body.

John,
I like the colors and the BG. Good detail on the hummer where it counts. I really like the Ant, gives a nice touch to the overall capture. :toast:

Very nice sharpness on the head and main flowers. The BG is great too. For me the OOF flower is a detractor. Without it this would have been simply stellar.

Nice work John. It's great to see a hummingbird with the wings blurred - presume this wasn't a "setup" in the vein of what we normally see?

I like that the eye is clear but wish the OOF piece of foliage in the foreground was missing ;)

The OOF stem isn't ideal, but the image is still pretty strong. Nice sharpness and detail in the bird. Good background.

Very nice, John. Excellent focus on the Hummer and the flower. One could wish the foreground flower weren't there, but still an excellent image.
