Ruby beach in the Olympic Peninsula iin Washington is about the most photogenic beach I've been to, though each place has its beauty.

Canon Rebel XTi, ISO100, 24mm, f/16, 1/3 sec., tripod

Thanks in advance for any comments and critiques.

What a great spot! There are lots of interesting elements on this beach with which to create a beautiful photo--nice foreground rocky beach, angled inlet of water, 3 rocky towers of varying size, a OOF tower with silhouetted trees on the top, a beautiful sunset, and a nice reflection. And you composed it all very well. Looks like a place one could visit time and again to find great shots! In this shot, I think a little more color enhancement and/or contrast would help bring out all its beauty. Possibly pushing the color slide to have more red, pulling back a bit from the blue would help?

Kathy, I like the shapes and how you've arranged them in the frame. I also agree wtih Carolyn that a bit more color would be nice, and I'd open a levels layer and back off on the mid slider a bit to open the darkest shadows.
This image has a feel for adventure. Maybe its those trees hiding in the bg.

Love the gentle light, it's reflection, and the shapes of the sea stacks. Very nice! I also think that a slight lightening of the stacks would be nice.

Dramatic scene. I like the way the foreground silhouettes are dark enough to separate themselves from the tree-topped seastack in the background.
