Nothing special here, but I thought I'd finish off the series with this image of a collapsing Morning Glory. As most of you know, the blooms begin to desiccate and collapse by mid-morning, and are spent by late morning. This image was taken at 10:47am. Nikon D700, 180 macro, f22, 1/40, iso 400.

Beautifully executed, Scott ! Love the moment you've chosen to capture and how you've done it, with all the softness of the fallen petals realised to perfection.

I disagree with "nothing special" This is beautifully presented...and I almost like it better than the others even! I didn't realize that these blooms roll back on themselves like this...even their wilting process is beautiful!

This is unique and beautiful. Dof is perfect for conveying the mood of retreating beauty. Great finish for your series.

Great BG and nice lines Scott. The DOF works very well too. Nice photo.

Scott - This is lovely. The folded flower actually creates more interest than fresh ones. These are views we often ignore and hence the interest.

Have not been in Flora for a while, so I missed the earlier ones, but this is just as good, and in a way, even better in its uniqueness. It really is special, allowing us to witness an often-ignored side of the life of the flower.

I like this a lot, Scott. Not only does it have a lovely background, but the purple is so accentuated by it. Great composition, too... :toast:
